Epic Moments at Fotografiska
This summer, it’ll be exactly 100 years since the Summer Olympics were held in Stockholm. The year was 1912, and the “Sunshine Olympics”, as they were known, became a forerunner of our modern Olympics in many ways. To celebrate this centenary, we’re arranging a photo exhibition entitled Epic Moments together with Fotografiska, one of the world’s biggest venues for photographic collections.
Come along on a tour of the history of the Summer Olympics, with 50 of the most unforgettable sporting moments ever captured on camera. See iconic Olympians’ trials and triumph as they battle for honour and medals, and experience the tenths, hundredths and thousandths that made history.
Epic Moments will be opening at Fotografiska in Stockholm on 8 June and continuing until 19 August. Welcome!
